The Penguin School is the oldest motorcycle track school in the nation (founded in 1973).  Nowhere else will you find so many top expert instructors who are willing to share their knowledge with you.

Class Selection
If you are new to the racetrack or would like to become certified for a race license, you should attend the Basic Course.  If you are looking to make yourself a better rider and want to attend one of the most acclaimed training classes in the country, you should attend the Advanced Course (Level 1 for street riders, Level 2 for racers) with multi-time national champion and AMA race winner Eric Wood.

Basic Course - $280

The basic course includes our school guidebook "Basic Road Racing" by Jerry Wood, classroom instruction (discussing bike preparation, riding techniques, flags, rules and track survival) and most important plenty of riding time!  Following the classroom you will be introduced to the racetrack while riding in small groups, each led by an expert instructor. The balance of the day will be open practice sessions where you can ride at your own pace and practice what you have learned.  Short, riding specific classes will be run between your afternoon sessions. There will be instructors available at all times to help with any questions you may have. Riders successfully completing this course will be issued a certificate that will enable you to get a racing license.  You can then purchase your license at the track so you can race that same weekend.  Your license will also allow you to participate in Florida CCS discounted track days on select Saturdays (contact Florida CCS for details).

Testimonial:
"Last week I participated in the school.  I just wanted to let you know that it was a great learning experience and I feel a lot more confident going around the track.  You are real pro's with a great attitude, always willing to help...I will be back for the advanced school"  - R.C.

Advanced Course (Levels 1 and 2) - $280
We will lower your lap times!! Our advanced course is available for riders who have completed our basic course, right up to top experts looking for that edge.  All of our instructors are expert class champions who can help you with bike setup, starts, braking, cornering, race lines, and more! If you have questions, we will have answers. The advanced course includes classroom, detailed track walk, guided riding time, open practice, and individual tutoring.  At this event we are able to do individual student critique not only via trackside observation, but also through photographic analysis.   We always have instructors available in the afternoon who can ride 1 on 1 with students looking for some extra help.

What's the difference between the level 1 and level 2?  It's simple.  Level 1 is for racers and Level 2 is for non-racers.  Both groups get the same in-depth classroom sessions and track walk, but the Level 1 and Level 2 groups are separated on the track during open sessions.  Level 1 (non race) riders have a few structured passing rules to help riders feel more comfortable on the track , and the Level 2 (race) group simply follows normal on track etiquette for practice.

Testimonial:
"I attended the Penguin Advanced School last week (I'm an Amateur on a GSXR600).  On the race weekend after the class I went 5 seconds faster than my previous weekend!  I just wanted you to know that your teaching was VERY effective for me.  Thanks again!"  - D.L.

Afternoon Riding Session Only - $200
For riders looking to save a little money, Penguin is offering the opportunity to participate in the afternoon riding session part of the school only.  This session goes from Noon until the end of the day.  In order to participate in this riding session you must either be a licensed road racer or have completed a license certification school in the past 12 months.  Riders must bring proof of thier certification status in order to ride.

"I want to thank you for an exciting day at Penguin Roadracing School. The day was well organized and your talented team of instructors were terrific. They managed to convey a lot of information in a short time and in such a professional manner."
