Basic License Certification Course
Who should Attend?
This course is for riders who want to become certified for a racing license or to have the ability to participate in racer practice days. It is not required for NESBC participants.

These classes are held on the Friday before every LRRS weekend (6 dates) at NHMS, plus on the Wednesday before the Loudon Classic (this is a two-day course with licensing Weds and an all riding techniques curriculum Thursday).
Class Details VIDEO HERE
The basic course includes our school guidebook "Basic Road Racing", classroom instruction (discussing bike preparation, riding techniques, flags, rules, and track survival) and most important plenty of riding time! Following the classroom a former AMA Pro superbike racer, you will be introduced to the racetrack while riding in small groups, each led by an expert instructor. Short, riding specific classes will be run between your afternoon sessions. There will be instructors available at all times to help with any questions you may have.
How do I get my license?
The school is nationally accredited for most racing organizations, which of course includes the LRRS/CCS organization. At the conclusion of the school you will get a certificate that allows you to purchase a license within 1 year. This license will qualify you for nationwide CCS races and give you eligibility for racer practice sessions. If you want to stay Friday night and get your license (many students will race the next day) we walk you through the entire licensing and race entry process.
